Image
How is it already the last day of August? Fall is in the air, the kids are about to head back to school and pumpkin spice is everywhere. This year has flown by. We've got 17 books to recap, so lets get to it. The Inheritance Games (The Inheritance Games #1) by  Jennifer Lynn Barnes A Cinderella story with deadly stakes and thrilling twists. Avery Grambs has a plan for a better future: survive high school, win a scholarship, and get out. Weekly Menu #419 And The Book Of The Week

Image
Hello Monday. Welcome back to Book Confessions. I realized this week, that the kids are going back to school soon and we are not prepared. No supplies have been purchased and we have two kids going to new schools this year. They haven't had a chance to walk the halls and familiarize themselves with their classrooms. This is huge for autistic kids to be comfortable. I'm hoping we will get the chance to check things out right before school starts, otherwise this school year is going to get off to a rough start. This weeks read is A Seaside Summer by Josi S. Kilpack. I've had good experiences with Kilpack's books before, so looking forward to jumping into this one to see what I see. Lets get to this weeks menu. Enjoy!  WEEKLY MENU   Monday Feta Spinach Chicken Patties   Tuesday French Toast   Wednesday Vodka Sauce Spaghetti   Thursday Salmon and Green Bean Foil Packs   Friday Instant Pot Pad Thai   Saturday Dagwood Sandwiches   Sunday Leftover...

Her own days are filled with the often-mundane work of running the book and print shop she owns with her father. The shop offers her the freedom and income to employ and protect the poverty-stricken Londoners she's come to care about, and it gives her father something to do other than long for their hometown of St. Petersburg. She is grateful for the stability in their lives, but she often feels lonely. Brogan Donnelly was born and raised in Ireland, but has lived in London for several years, where he's built a career as a Penny Dreadful writer. He has dedicated himself to the plight of the poor with the help of his sister. His membership in the secretive Dread Penny Society allows him to feel he isn't entirely wasting his life, yet he feels dissatisfied. With no one to share his life with but his sister, he fears London will nev...
