Sunday Confessions #98

Heya Sunday, welcome back. Its been a cold dreary week. Not at all what the end of May should be. I want sun and warmth, to leave the front door open during the day to let the sunshine in the house, but no. I don't get any of that because the clouds of sadness and despair are hanging over my city. Go away! Maybe next week will turn around.  Photo above: Having a little fun with my medium boy and friend Amy during our weekly Masked Singer watch party. I know my hands look funny, but its not a gang sign... I'm holding a black cat... I swear... So many emotions went into the pages, that I felt drained after reading it. IT was like fighting against a current. Even though the pain from all the drama was hard to read at points, it was still a wonderful story. It takes a good author with some balls to write about such deep pain and still make it worth reading. Ano...

Good morning Monday! Glad to have you back again. We are down to the final two weeks of school with my kidos, then summer break. To be honest, its felt like a perpetual summer break since March of 2020, the only difference, Zoom meetings... This weeks read is What We Devour by Linsey Miller. Its kind of been described to me as a gothic fantasy, so I'm excited to find out more and share my review with all of you. From some of the other reviews on Goodreads, it sounds like a blast, so here goes nothing. This weeks menu has some old and some new recipes on it. I'm even going to try out that Pollo Cancun I talked about yesterday in the Sunday Confessions. Check back in for that. Enjoy! WEEKLY MENU   Monday Ground Beef Tacos   Tuesday Sausage Parmesan Soup   Wednesday Pollo Cancun Mexican White Sauce   Thursday Potato Soup   Friday French Toast   Saturday Sloppy Joe's   Sunday Leftovers Night
