Weekly Menu #383 And The Book Of The Week

Hello Monday. Well, its the week of Christmas and I can't believe 2020 is almost over. It seems like this year has gone fast, but also way too slow if you know what I mean. I want it to be over, but at the same time, terrified of what's to come. Will 2021 be worse? I sure hope not. This weeks read is Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline. I absolutely loved ready player one. My husband and I had a read off to see who would finish the book first. It was a close one. I think I won by only a few minutes. I'm really hoping that this second installment lives up to those high expectations, but I've already heard some opinions on it and I'm scared. Have you read it? Let me know what you thought in the comments below. Lets get to what you've all been waiting for, the weekly menu. Christmas is not a full menu since I will only be making a few dishes for family dinner. Enjoy and Merry Christmas! WEEKLY MENU   Monday Lasagna   Tuesday General Tso's Chicken   Wednesday Smo...

Movie Review: Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind

Image
Title:  Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind Genre:  Biography Release Date:  July 16th, 2018 My Rating: ★★★★★ IMDB Rating:  8.0/10 Cast: Robin Williams , Steve Allen , Robert Altman   Summary from IMDB:  An intimate look into the life and work of the revered master comedian and actor, Robin Williams .   IMDB Trailer   Review: Robin Williams was one of the most iconic actors of my childhood. His name always gathered all of my siblings together to watch him perform. It was a sad day when we learned of his death. This biographical movie brings to light the reasoning behind his death, but more importantly, celebrates his achievements in life. Bring your tissues, the tears will flow freely.
