I'm actually surprised that this movie had such low ratings on IMDB when it got 78% on Rotten Tomatoes.
I actually enjoyed this movie even though I was a little skeptical when I found out there was no singing or Mushu. Even without these elements that I loved so much from the animated movie, the entertainment factor alone was enough for me to give this epic adventure four stars.
The fight scenes were choreographed wonderfully, with every action a dance of perfection. It was amazing to watch.
Of course, as my husband can attest too, I broke out in song any change I got. "Let's get down to business, to defeat, the Huns." My husband would kindly say, "No, stop it." But was there really any stopping me? No, I dare say there wasn't.
I only gave this movie four stars because I wasn't able to sing along. It was entertaining and a joy to watch.
