Sunday Confessions #105

Sunday is back! Another long week under our belts.

My husband and I have decided that we need a bigger vehicle for the family. We have a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander, which we love a lot, but with sensory children, if they don't have enough leg room, they freak out. I have to admit, the third row is a little bit of a squeeze, even for our seven year old. They happened to get their mom's long legs. We're hoping to get a new vehicle in the next week or two. Stay tuned for what we find.

On to this weeks recap.

Sunday Confessions #106

Ok, so I cam still reading A Terrible Fall of Angels by Laurell Hamilton, only because I got my hands on another book that I've been waiting for and I absolutely had to read it. So this book will get done this week and my review will go live on August 4th as planned.

A little Benny and the Jets to lighten your day.

Taking a break from binge watching Lucifer to start in on some long awaited shows. The one I cam currently watching is A discovery of Witches season 2. I'm also going to read book two in the All Souls Trilogy once I'm done, to parallel the story and get a better understanding of the characters.

I can't wait to dive into that book.

With summer in full swing, warm weather calls for a light and fruity drink for those cooler summer evenings. This Summer Sangria with Watermelon and Pineapple from Shay at What the Fork looks delicious.

I will definitely be trying this recipe soon.

My TBR pile has been my main focus this week. Lots of review books to read and a few others that I've been waiting to get my hands on. Hoping to get back to my challenges soon.

    1. I recently found out that my husband is a huge Elton John fan. After 15 years of marriage, I'm still learning new things about him.

  2. It can be daunting to feel crushed in a car so I understand why you'd want a bigger vehicle. Good luck hunting. Benny and the Jets is such a fun song. I've wondered about Discovery of Witches. I may try it out sometime.

    1. Season 2 was really interesting since it was set 1590 and not in present day like season 1. Keeps the plot interesting.

  5. I need to watch A Discovery of Witches. Good luck with the car, I know they are really hard to find and somewhat expensive right now because of a chip shortage. Hope you have a good week!

    1. Yeah, we are finding it hard to find a car within out price range. Good thing I'm patient.

  6. Good luck with the car search! Finding one with a roomy 3rd row is definitely a challenge. We had a Toyota Sequoia when my older kids were younger and I could sit in the 3rd row pretty comfortably - I'm not particularly tall but all my height is in my legs. It was a boat but super reliable and I was sad when it was time to trade it in though I do love having a smaller vehicle! Not sure if the newer models have the same amount of space. The Summer Sangria with Watermelon and Pineapple looks amazing! Refreshing and summery. I hope you have a wonderful week!

    1. I'll have to look into the Sequoia. Right now, I think my husband has his mind set on the Kia Telluride. He really likes the cooling seats, lol.
