Review: I was a little leery to watch this new version of Aladdin. I love Will Smith, but I also love Robin Williams and the original Aladdin was an iconic performance by Mr. Williams. Nobody can replace him. I was worried that Will Smith would try to replicate the original and fail. I was amazingly surprised.

The roll of Genie was completely redone to match Will Smith's personality. He had a more hip hop element, and it really worked well with the vibe of the movie. It was Genie, but then again it wasn't.

The music was great, the dancing was amazing and the whole movie really sat well with me. Even my husband who hates musicals, love this movie. This is a must for anyone who loved the original Aladdin.
