It’s time for another round of Sunday Confessions—where I spill the bookish truths I’ve been keeping to myself all week. Whether it’s a surprising DNF, an unpopular opinion, a new obsession, or a towering TBR I keep pretending doesn’t exist, this is my space to be honest. Grab your coffee (or tea), settle in, and let’s get into this week’s literary confessions.

Sunday Confessions #305
Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Donald F. GlutYou can’t go wrong with this classic. The Empire Strikes Back is already one of the most iconic entries in the Star Wars saga, and Donald F. Glut’s novelization does this beloved story absolute justice. With richly detailed scenes, expanded character insights, and faithful pacing, Glut brings the epic struggle between the Rebellion and the Empire to life on the page. The emotional depth, dramatic stakes, and unforgettable reveals hit just as hard in print as they do on screen. A must-read for Star Wars fans and a five-star experience from start to finish.
147/100 2025 Reading Challenge
That’s it for this week’s confessions—some hits, some misses, and a few surprises I didn’t see coming. As always, reading is a journey, and not every twist in the plot (or the TBR) goes as planned. I’d love to hear your latest bookish confessions too—drop them in the comments and let’s swap stories, no judgment here!
