Sunday Confessions #134
The Kenobi TV series is right around the corner and I must catch up to that part of the timeline before I watch the show. I must... Or, not because I will watch it either way.
Other than the multitude of YouTube videos about Pokemon my middle son has subjected me to, my husband has decided he wants to binge all the Harry Potter movies since it was suggested to him by a co-worker.
I've been listening to a very odd mix lately of the Encanto, Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy and Suicide Squad soundtracks. I think its the music from Encanto that really throws it off, lol. The last song I listened to was Ashes by Celine Dion.
I'm not a Harry Potter fanatic, although I have read all the books and watched all the movies in the past. They are fairly enjoyable, but the more I watch them, the more I pick them apart as I do with everything (Over-analyzing is my super power). Lets just say, I have a laundry list of grievances with #3 that I should probably keep to myself if I want to have any kind of a relationship with my dear cousin in Florida. I love you Britany!
The past weekend I worked on painting the kitchen and added some floral paper to the inside of my open cabinets. We had picked out some backsplash to replace the current backsplash, but I didn't like how it looked with the color and floral paper. We finally... and when I say we, I really mean I... decided on white subway tile as it has a clean look and really goes with everything.
My husband suggested a dark grout and after finding this blog post by Cara at Never Skip Brunch highlighting darker grouts, I think a dark color is going to look amazing in our kitchen.
7/100 2022 Reading Challenge
Since I was working through a very large book, I didn't finish as many books as I had hoped, but I'm still reading. Hope your week was wonderful and full of books.
