I... Loved... This... Movie!!!
I mean, it has Ryan Reynolds, a fun and new plot line and wonderful cinematics. What a fun watch.
We follow Guy, a bank teller in a video game that does the same thing day after day, until he sees a player who sparks his interest.
After meeting Molotov Girl, Guy's programing helps him grow and develop into a self aware AI, but when his world is in danger, Guy has to fight to stay alive.
The cast is amazing, and the little nuances are great. Guy pulls out the Captain America shield and Chris Evans has a cameo because of it. One of my kids favorite YouTubers (The one that I can actually stand listening to) DanTDM is in the movie. My husband and I were freaking out, but since the kids didn't want to watch the movie with us, they didn't get to see. Guess who wants to watch Free Guy now? Good thing we purchased it.
This was a family friendly movie that was just plain fun to watch. I recommend it to everyone.
Ooh this does look good. I almost didn't recognize Jody Comer without blond hair. Chris Evans shows up? How fun!
ReplyDeleteComer is wearing a wig through most the movie and Chris Evans has a cameo toward the end when it all starts to go down. It was a super fun movie.
