Review:

Directly following the end of the first move, A Quiet Place, those who are left of the Abbott family are forced to leave their destroyed home and find shelter in the mountains, believing there are more people alive that could possibly help them survive.

This story takes many twists and turns as the Abbots try to survive in complete silence with a newborn baby. This is just crazy to me. They have devised a plan to keep the child quiet, but it all relies on finding oxygen tanks to keep the baby alive while in its soundproof box.

The movie really highlights the way the world has fallen into chaos and people are not the kind hearted neighbors that would help in an instant. They are now blood thirsty rebels who take what they want and leave the rest to die.

In the midst of it all, there are a few who are glad to help, a safe haven for the Abbotts, but this is also in danger. Everything comes down to the eldest Abbott girl and her hearing aid. She devises a plan to kill the strange monsters once and for all.

I watched this movie with my husband, only explaining a few things to him along the way since he didn't watch the first movie. I lost a few finger nails toward the end, but it was worth it. Loved this movie, not as much as the first, but still a wonderful scary experience.
