Review:

A stunning and in-depth look into the background of Cruella and what made her who she is.

I really loved the complexity of this movie. As we peel back layer by layer, we find out how Cruella came to be. Her life started off simple enough, or so it seems, until the tragic death of her mother leaves Estela on the streets, orphaned and alone. Her only way to survive is to become a thief, but she never loses her dream of becoming a fashion designer.

Estella's downward spiral is somewhat her fault, as the other side of her personality comes out, the girl she calls "Cruella."

The cinematics and script are impeccably done and the story is wonderful. I felt for Cruella as she fell from grace and became the puppy napping evil villain we know so well. Even the small nuances, like the car she drives and the Dalmatians and her hatred for them are jam packed into this movie. Great for adults and kids alike.
