Monday! I hope you had a wonderful safe 4th of July. As a mother of three autistic children, It was a little rough, but we did get to spend some time with family early in the day and watched some small, but still somewhat loud neighborhood shows. My two older children hid in their rooms most the night, but my youngest got out the noise canceling ear muffs and enjoyed himself. I couldn't ask for more. The 4th of July just isn't an autism friendly holiday.
For the book of the week, I'm going with Robert Jordan's Warrior of the Altaii. This book just came on my radar last week and I was surprised I was able to procure a copy so quickly. I'm a big fan of Robert Jordan's Wheel of time series and I can't wait to see what is going on between these covers.
