Sunday Confessions #5

Hello week five of my confessions. I love this post. It helps me recast what I've done during the week and puts into light the mass amount of books I've been reading lately. I thought at the beginning of the year that my book consumption would be less than last year. I was in a reading slump and because of it, I put my book challenge low at 150 books. I'm already at 124 books and we still have a lot of time left in the year.

My poor dog this week. She has seasonal dermatitis and it makes her itch to no end. So, this week she has been resigned to the cone of shame. She looks like it too. After the initial fight of keeping the cone on her head, now she just looks at everyone with those sad dog eyes. Poor thing. She will feel better soon.

On to the recap. Enjoy!

Sunday Confessions # 6

I picked up The art of racing in the rain from the library just because I was interested in the movie that is coming out.

Things you save in a fire was suggested by another blogger and it sounded great so I requested it on Netgalley and received it, hooray! Can't wait to dive into this one.

A stranger on the beach is another blogger suggested book. I really need to seem lest interested in books, lol. I can't help myself.

Where the crawdads sing was a book club suggestion and I have a feeling that we will be reading it soon so I picked up a copy at the library to get a head start on it. I didn't expect to get it so soon since it is a popular book.

The princess beard is a Netgalley request. I read the first two books in the series and was excited when I received an email from the publisher asking if I would be interested in reading this story. Yes, yes I am!

How Rory Thorne destroyed the multiverse is another Netgalley request. I'm up to 10 reviews waiting for me to read. I need to get to it, lol.

I'm excited for this coming week and all the new books and reviews I get to enjoy here on the blog and out there in the blogosphere. I would love to hook up with you and do some post swaps and/or buddy reads, so shoot me a line. My contact info is up on the menu bar.
