Weekly Menu #309 And The Book Of The Week

Hey Monday, welcome back. You could have stayed away a little longer. Maybe a three day weekend would have been nice. No? maybe next week. Oh right, next week is VACATION!!! Don't worry, I will still schedule my weekly posts for all of you so make sure you come back for the menu. Maybe we will try something new, who knows.

This week has seemed like it was super long. Everyday was a challenge, but when is it not? I have three special needs children. They are a challenge in itself. But we keep pushing on.
To tell you the truth, I didn't really like Leah in the off beat, last weeks pick, so I'm going to go back to a more suitable genre for myself. I think this weeks book is going to be Obsidio by Amie Kaufman. I've been plowing through this series and thought I should probably finish it since the other two are still fresh in my mind. I have to say, my reviews are going to be interesting so make sure you come back for those.

This weeks menu looks delicious, please enjoy!

  1. Leah was ok for me, but I was not a fan of who Albertalli picked for the love interest. Way to blow up a good thing to make that happen, but I LOVED Obsidio. It was a good ending for a series I adored. I hope you enjoy it, and WOO HOO for vacation! It's nice to have that to look forward to.

    1. I'm going to dive into Obsidio as soon as I am done with my current ARC. I'm crossing my fingers 😁

    1. It's a series that you should at least try once. I was surprised how different it was from the rest of the scifi world.
