Sunday Confessions #329

Rock Paper Scissors

Alice Feeney

★★★☆☆

I went into Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney hoping for a gripping psychological thriller, but it fell a bit flat for me. The pacing felt slow, and while there was action scattered throughout, it didn’t really push the story forward in a meaningful way. By the time I reached the big reveal, I found myself more confused than impressed. It just didn’t make much sense to me. Overall, it was an okay read, but not as sharp or satisfying as I had hoped.

343/100 2025 Reading Challenge

In the end, every reading week has its mix of surprises, disappointments, and new favorites, and that’s what makes the journey so much fun. Whether a book earns five stars or just keeps me company for a few evenings, I’m always grateful for the stories that find their way to my shelf. Until next Sunday, may your next read be one you can’t stop thinking about.
