Review:

I think only true readers would appreciate this odd movie. Spiderhead is a twisted tale of science over humanity and the obsession with the idea of a better world.

The original short story is definitely worth reading if you don't mind a little sex for the sake of science, of course. The movie itself, its a bit on the dark side and seems a little slow at first. This can be overlooked when the story starts heating up and the realization of what is really going on starts to come into play.

I loved the new edition of the love stories between two of the inmates. This is different from the short story. It really brings a human feel into the story. Also, the strange friendship/not friendship Hemsworth and Teller create throughout the movie is a little cringe worthy, but so worth it.

And lets talk about the actors. Chris Hemsworth is impeccable of course. He's great at whatever he does these days and I'm a big fan. Miles Teller is really coming up in my lists and did an incredible job holding the story together.

This was a nice afternoon watch while folding laundry.
