Review:
Yes, I did give this movie 4 stars, and yes it did have many blatant potholes... But I'm such a nerd.
Lets start with the things that I loved. The idea of the moon being a mega structure/seeding pod to save the human race from existence peaked my nerdy side. The acting and the cinematics, amazing. And, lets not forget the murderous AI swarms that are trying to kill all life as we know it.
Now, for what doesn't make any sense... Lets start with the obvious Lexus commercial/car chase placed smack dab in the middle of the movie. It wasn't needed, or made any sense to the plot of the moon falling to earth and the astronauts up in space trying to fix it. Also, at the end of the movie Halle Berry's character uses her satellite phone... but the moon literally grazed the atmosphere taking out all the satellites in orbit...
This is a movie for nerds who can look past the plot holes and just have fun. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone.
