Recipe: Chicken Skillet with Mushrooms and Parmesan


I am a sucker for parmesan sauce. This easy chicken recipe has the most delicious parmesan garlic cream sauce, and the golden pan fried chicken thighs are to die for.

Follow this easy recipe to make your own Keto friendly dinner. Or add some mashed potatoes or rice for something a little more comforting.

2 tbsp olive oil
1½ lbs boneless chicken thighs
salt and pepper
8 oz. baby bella mushrooms, sliced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1½ cups heavy whipping cream
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 tsp fresh parsley


1. Warm oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper and sear until browned and cook thoroughly. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside for later.

2. Add garlic to the pan, stirring for about 1-2 minutes or until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until soft, about 5-7 minutes.

3. Turn heat to low and add heavy cream, stirring often. Allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes to thicken, then add parmesan until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.

4. Add chicken back to skillet and cover with sauce. Serve with parsley as garnish.
