Review:

When my husband suggested we watched this movie, I thought there would be no way a single man could climb 14 mountains in 7 months, when so many people spend their entire lifetime just trying to summit one mountain. Was it even possible? It was. In fact, it wasn't just one man.

The movie follows Nirmal Purja, a Nepali mountaineer who set his eyes on breaking the world record of 14 peaks in about as many years, claiming he could summit them all in 7 months. He made a plan, took the risks and did what he set out to do.

It wasn't the 14 tallest mountains in the world that made this movie great, but the multiple people that Purja helped. He found lost climbers, held a man on the side of a mountain that was left for dead, watching him take his last break so he didn't have to die alone. He literally paved the way for others to summit, when they couldn't make it on their own. This man was more than just a climber, he was an amazing person that respected the mountain and the people around him enough to serve the greater good.

This was an incredible story and worth a watch.
