Review:

It has taken me a long time to write this review, but I love, absolutely love this movie. I have watched it more times than I can count and it still makes me laugh every time.

Thor returns to Asgard to find his brother, Loki parading around as their father Oden. Loki has hidden Oden on earth and used his magic to subdue him. This has inevitably caused Oden to lose his power and ultimately die. Oden's life was the only thing holding back the dark power of Hela, a long lost sister of Thor and Loki and the goddess of death.

With Hela's return, Asgard is plunged into a dark time with much death and destruction. Heimdall does what he can to save the Asgardians, but he knows its only a matter of time before Hela finds them.

During the first battle with Hela, Thor and Loki are thrown from the bi-frost and end up on Sakaar, a garbage planet with a gladiator like fight ring, where Thor finds his friend Bruce Banner stuck in the body of his alter ego, Hulk.

From there, humor and action hold this plotline together in a fantastic and chaotic dance that brings around the destruction of Asgard in an event that was foreseen as Ragarok.

Thor is hilarious. His one-liners and facial expressions are amazingly comedic. And the relationship between him and Loki deepens in a wonderful, but still very ridged way.

I love this movie. A must watch at any point in your MCU journey.
