Movie Review: The Lost Husband

Title: The Lost Husband
Genre: Romance
Release Date: April 10th, 2020
My Rating: ★★★☆☆
IMDB Rating: 6.0/10

Summary from IMDB:

Trying to put her life back together after the death of her husband, Libby and her children move to her estranged Aunt's goat farm in central Texas.

Review:

When Libby's husband died in a car accident, her life is flipped on its head. She has a heap of debt and is forced to sell everything and move in with her toxic mother. Unable to take it any longer, she moves with her two kids to her aunts in central Texas where she learns a dark secret about her mother. Of course there is a romance brewing and a life that Libby never thought she would have again.

I enjoyed this movie and look forward to reading the book. The love story was a wonderful overlay to the true plot of Libby and her past. I really enjoyed the scene where they get locked in the walk-in freezer, wonderful!

If you need a good romantic movie to lighten your day, watch The Lost Husband on Netflix right now.
