Review:

I've been waiting to watch this movie for a while now. Finally convinced my husband to watch it with me.

With everything going on in the world, I needed a little light heartedness, and this movie really hit the spot.

A mix of humor and action, the story follows four teens who are very different, as they learn to work together to win the game of Jumanji, saving their lives in the process.

Each character was phenomenal. Jack Black cracked me up as he portrayed a preppy teenage socialite who's obsessed with her phone. I really believed there was a young woman behind that dad bod. The Rock was an insecure nerd, but damn... can he smolder... Chris Rock, the oversized football player stuck in a mouse sized body, really made me roll in my seat. I loved it, and of course Karen Gillan kicked ass as the internal emo-esk girl who tries not to be seen. I also spied a hint of Nebula from Guardians of the Galaxy in her voice, so that was fun.

This was a fantastic comedy action movie that really made me laugh.
