Review:

Godkiller by Hannah Kaner is a dark and gripping fantasy that weaves together gods, vengeance, and unlikely alliances. Kaner’s world-building is rich, with a brutal yet compelling mythology that keeps the stakes high. The protagonist, Kissen, a fierce godkiller with a haunted past, is both ruthless and deeply human, making her journey captivating. The dynamic between the characters, especially the young girl inexplicably tied to a god, adds depth and tension. While the pacing occasionally falters and some elements feel underexplored, the novel’s sharp prose and morally complex themes make it a standout debut. A strong start to a promising series.
