Book Confessions of an Ex-Ballerina

Last Sunday we spent the afternoon at the river house with my husbands parents. It was the first time my boys experienced the cold waters that they've looked upon for many years now. My eldest wanted to float down the rapids with his daddy, but as soon as he felt the life jacket squeeze his chest, he freaked out. Maybe next time. They still had fun playing on the shore. They even built, with a little help from daddy and uncle, a calm pool for the baby to play in. Can't wait to spend many warm summer days next year by the water.
