It has been a long week but I am grateful the rain is back. There is something about the sound and smell that soothes my overloaded mind. Even a little thunder is a welcomed sight.
We are finally getting used to Phoenix being in school. I talked to his teacher Thursday and she suggested skipping some of the lessons he already knew and just taking the tests. That way he doesn't get bored. I'm really glad that we decided to "home school" him.
Here is this weeks menu. Trying some new things that I'm not quite sure how good they will be.
