Blogging about my dinner. Yeah!!!

Since a lot of people have been asking about my weight loss and what I've been doing to lose it, I've decided to join the millions of Americans and blog about it.
We filled our tummies tonight with a delicious taco salad with some homemade salsa that Jason's mom gave us. With in the time it took Jason to screw a night light to the wall and change the sheets on Phoenix's bed I had dinner made, that's how easy it was, and the best part about it was the carb count. Lets give it a big fat ZERO. There are so few carbs in this dish that its not even worth counting them.
So here's the skinny (lol, pun intended) about taco salad.
  • lb ground beef
  • Taco seasoning
  • Walla walla sweet onion
  • Green leaf lettuce
  • Medium Cheddar Cheese
  • Home made Salsa
  • Green pepper
  • Pablano Pepper
  • Yellow Banana Pepper
  • Sour cream
Mix all these ingredients in a bowl and enjoy.

On another note, I had a wonderful day with my boys. We played with our new puppy Laddi. She is a 2 year old min pin. Interesting fact, min pins have been around about 200 years longer the doberman pincers, unlike popular belief that they are a smaller breed of doberman. They are actually a cross between a grey hound and dachshund, weird. That would explain the faster than light circle around my front yard.

Jason had a good day selling Jeep parts to weirdo's from the internet. I think its his new hobby. He also likes surfing the free listings on craigslist. I wonder how much junk we are going to end up with now that Jason has a running truck? We... Shall... See...

We've been doing so well the last couple of days with Phoenix's potty training that I decided to put him in underpants for half the day. It worked out well, no accidents. I figured when he was wiping it out to pee on the fire wood Jason was pilling in the fire pit, or peeing on the tree's in the front yard, he was probably ready to be a big boy. Cross your fingers for tomorrow.

I'm probably going to be scolded for this but we finally moved the boys out of our bedroom and into their own room. I know its weird to have them sleeping in our room, but I'm very protective of my children and didn't feel safe in our neighborhood at first. Now that its been 2 years since we've moved here and this small town girl has gotten used to the big city, I'm more comfortable letting my children sleep in a different room.

It has been a good labor day weekend and I'm so glad I got to spend it with my boys. Have a wonderful week and until next time, Selah.
